Michelle Dalton lives in Canton, Ohio with her husband, Jack. She graduated from Jackson High School in 2014, where she played on the varsity tennis team, and then attended the University of Akron, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a minor in Psychology.

During college, Michelle took a break from tennis to focus on her other sport, figure skating. After graduating, she became the Skating Director and a full-time figure skating coach at Center Ice Sports Complex.

Michelle eventually returned to tennis and has enjoyed playing USTA leagues, appreciating both the social and competitive aspects of the sport while continuing to improve her game. She now competes at the 4.5 level, having qualified for the NTRP National Championships in 2023 and 2024, and earning the runner-up title in 2025.
