Pete Opperman
Peter Opperman is a seasoned banking professional with nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry. He currently serves as District Manager for Farmers National Bank, a role he has held for the past five years. In this capacity, Peter is responsible for driving growth in the bank’s loan and deposit portfolio across the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton markets. His leadership and strategic focus have played a key role in expanding the bank’s presence and deepening its community ties in Northeast Ohio.
A graduate of North Royalton High School, where he was an All-Pioneer Conference tennis player, Peter went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. He has consistently combined his financial expertise with a strong commitment to civic and economic development. Peter serves on several local boards, including the Alliance Family Health Center, Alliance Area Development, and the Massillon Development Foundation. He is also actively involved with the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, helping to foster regional business engagement and growth.
Peter resides in Jackson Township with his wife of 15 years, Ellie, and their three children: Aisley, Evelyn, and Charlie. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his kids’ youth sports teams, golfing, playing tennis, and vacationing with his family.
